On December 13, 2016, OAR launched its completely redesigned website in celebration of OAR’s 15th birthday. The new site includes a modernized design, streamlined access to OAR’s key resources, and a searchable events calendar. It is also visually enhanced to provide a more positive user experience and is fully compatible with desktops and mobile devices.
A key feature of the new site is the research portal. It is essentially a bank of information on all OAR-funded applied and graduate research studies. Now, users have the power to search through studies by year, status, grant type, location, topics, or keywords to help answer their immediate questions.
Each individual study has its own profile page. In addition to the abstracts and research snapshots that were displayed on OAR’s previous website, the research portal has the capacity to feature a wealth of additional information including Research Preview and Research Review articles published in The OARacle newsletter and external links to publications and more information.
