Read and Learn

Acceptance and inclusion begin with awareness and understanding. Stay up-to-date with new perspectives and information:

  • Subscribe to the OARacle newsletter and follow us on social media to stay informed about autism news, perspectives, research, and resources.
  • Read and share newly published titles in OAR’s Libby library, including those written by autistic authors, advocates, and professionals.
  • Start or join a book club focused on autism topics.
Advocate in Everyday Moments

Acceptance grows through everyday actions and conversations. You can:

  • Encourage universal design and inclusive practices in your school, workplace, or community.
  • Challenge misconceptions and promote understanding of autism.
  • Model acceptance in your daily interactions, and listen to and amplify autistic voices.
