This fall, OAR set out to provide free informational resources about autism to families, individuals, and communities across the country. With your help, we surpassed many of our goals for distributing paperback resources and increasing engagement with our Libby library.

By the end of the fall outreach campaign, we surpassed our goal of 3,000 by distributing over 3,080 guidebooks to autism community members. OAR’s informational resources offer high-quality, research-based information on topics such as transitioning to adulthood, safety, autism assessments, research, and more.
From distributing OAR resources at community events to sharing them with clients or loved ones in your network, you are a big reason we surpassed our goal. Thank you!

OAR’s Libby library has over 250 e-books and audiobooks about autism that users can access for free on their personal devices for leisure or educational reading. This fall, we engaged over 360 readers through our Libby library, including 164 new readers, and generated a total of 1,070 checkouts.
Thank you for using our library and sharing it with others! We will continue to grow this resource, showcasing a wide variety of autism topics, perspectives, and educational content.
Each new year brings new opportunities to get involved with OAR. Explore our resources, volunteer with us, or borrow a new book in Libby today!
OAR will continue its annual autism acceptance campaign this spring. Look for more details on how to get involved with the campaign in the February issue of The OARacle.
