Support autism research and experience the magic of Walt Disney World® while supporting the autism community. The RUN FOR AUTISM is thrilled to be a participating charity with the 2026 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend presented by State Farm in Orlando, Fla., January 7-11, 2026.
The RUN FOR AUTISM has entries available for the 5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon, Goofy Challenge (half marathon and marathon), and Dopey Challenge (all four races), so there’s sure to be a distance perfect for you. Up for a half marathon and marathon on back-to-back days? Tackle the Goofy Challenge. Want to get your kids involved? Take on the 5K as a family.
Course routes traverse the Walt Disney World resort so runners encounter all the fantasy and fun of
Disney along the way. Natalie Logsdon, who ran the Dopey Challenge in 2025 with the RUN FOR AUTISM, said her favorite parts of the Disney races were the character pictures and the Mickey ears given at the end of the marathon.
Enjoy exclusive RUN FOR AUTISM team perks, including team gear, an OAR medal, and training and fundraising support. Because it’s the 2026 RUN FOR AUTISM featured event, RUN staff will be there on race weekend to cheer you on and give you an exclusive merch item.
Your fundraising commitment helps support the autism community through funding new applied research, providing free resources, supporting job seekers, and funding scholarships for autistic students.
Because all other entries are sold out, charity registration is the only way to run any Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend event. Ready for magic? Get the details and sign up today!
