News and Knowledge

With the end of the year rapidly approaching, job seekers are on the hunt to secure part-time and full-time opportunities before 2022 begins. Our newest navigator cohort is ready to help.

A google meets grid with 17 smiling Hire Autism navigators.

Sixteen incredible volunteers make up this cohort, the largest to date. Congratulations to our newest navigators: Alyssa Figgins, Amber Elias, Corey Cecchini, Dvorah Richman, Erica Powers, Jennifer Horowitz, Maria Green, Molly Russell, Paola Espinoza, Ramya Ramachandran, Saahithi Surapaneni, Shivam Patel, Kelly Banks, Jessica Naucapoma, Katherine Walton, Angela Hebert, and Bharan Bopanna. They come from a variety of personal and professional backgrounds, holding positions such as vice president, senior manager, research analyst, program director, writer, and consultant at companies like JP Morgan Chase, Capital One, Splunk, CGI, and George Mason University.

By helping to refine resumes, cover letters, and interview skills, navigators play a vital role in equipping job seekers with the tools necessary to prepare them for the job search and meet their employment goals. Arjang, a recent job seeker, had this to say about his experience working with a navigator, “I can’t praise my navigator or thank them enough for helping me reorganize my resume and re-evaluate my skills. They also helped me regain some self-confidence that the indifferent job market chipped away over time.”

Interested in becoming a navigator? Our next navigator cohort is scheduled for January 2022. Applications will be accepted until Friday, January 7, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
