Teen Wins Award For A Coding Program
In 2020, Sreenidi Bala, a teenager from Farmington, Connecticut, started a passion project that would change the lives of hundreds of autistic students.
Join OAR for its second annual Active For Autism 5K on April 19 at the Potomac Yard Trail in Alexandria, Va., and bring your friends and family! The family-friendly event will feature a safe, flat, and fast out-and-back course, kids dash, and post-race party. Along with the fun and fitness, the 5K will help spread autism awareness while raising money to fund life-changing research and provide free resources to families and educators. Don’t miss out; register today.
If you are not able to make the event, participate as a virtual runner to receive race perks, including the race t-shirt and race bib. You can also support OAR by setting up a fundraising page for the Active for Autism 5K. All participants who raise at least $100 will receive an OAR insulated tumbler. Prizes are also available for the top three fundraisers overall.
