OARacle Newsletter

OAR is thrilled to celebrate acceptance and creativity through our fifth annual Youth Art Contest. Autism is a spectrum, and so is creativity. So, young artists, dream big and let your creativity shine! We can’t wait to see the fantastic artwork you’ll create.

This contest is open to autistic children and their siblings, classmates, and friends, providing a platform for diverse voices and artistic expression.

For 2025, the theme of the Youth Art Contest is “Dreams,” offering endless possibilities for interpretation. Children are encouraged to explore their unique perspectives, whether expressing their aspirations, imaginative worlds, or visions for the future. This theme invites young artists to share their creativity while fostering a greater understanding of personal and community growth.

How to Participate

Participation is open to any autistic child, their siblings, classmates, or friends inspired to create. Here’s how a child can get involved:

  1. Create your masterpiece: Let your imagination soar and create an artwork that reflects the theme of “Dreams.” We want to see your unique perspective, whether it’s a painting, drawing, or mixed-media creation.
  2. Submit your entry: Head over to the Youth Art Contest webpage, where you’ll find all the details on submitting your artwork. The deadline for entries is 11:59 PM EST on February 28, 2025.
  3. Spread the word
