OAR is thrilled to celebrate acceptance and creativity through our fifth annual Youth Art Contest. Autism is a spectrum, and so is creativity. So, young artists, dream big and let your creativity shine! We can’t wait to see the fantastic artwork you’ll create.
This contest is open to autistic children and their siblings, classmates, and friends, providing a platform for diverse voices and artistic expression.
Why “Dreams”?For 2025, the theme of the Youth Art Contest is “Dreams,” offering endless possibilities for interpretation. Children are encouraged to explore their unique perspectives, whether expressing their aspirations, imaginative worlds, or visions for the future. This theme invites young artists to share their creativity while fostering a greater understanding of personal and community growth.
Participation is open to any autistic child, their siblings, classmates, or friends inspired to create. Here’s how a child can get involved:
In addition to having their artwork featured on OAR’s website, winners will also receive exciting prizes sponsored by Blick Art Materials, including:
Winners will be announced at the beginning of Autism Acceptance Month in April 2025. For more information and to submit your entry, visit the Youth Art Contest webpage.
