Webinar Description: This webinar discusses the vital importance of safety and crisis preparation in both school and home settings. Topics covered include wandering and elopement, working with first responders, seclusions and restraints, and bullying in the school environment. Scott’s personal experience in raising his son with all the early interventions possible lead him to be a strong advocate and voice for families facing many safety challenges. This webinar provides both professionals and caregivers with additional best practice tools to support the ASD community.

Scott Fowler is the parent of a child with autism and a subject matter expert for families that need guidance to a solid continuum of care for their children. Previous to being an autism consultant, Fowler was a special educator and school administrator.

Scott Fowler is the Co-Founder of AutismOutreachNetwork and has worked in public education for over two decades, serving as a teacher, lead teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal, and working in a central office capacity. Additionally, he is the parent of a child on the spectrum. He has provided training for school systems, the hospitality industry, law enforcement, and other enterprises that benefit from a better understanding of autism awareness.
