The OARacle Newsletter

Twenty-one years ago, a group of parents and grandparents of autistic children founded OAR. Since then, our focus has primarily been on resources to support those families, educators, and other caregivers. As the autism community has grown and changed, so has OAR and the resources we offer the autistic community.

In the past few years, we have added resources such as Sex. Ed for Self-Advocates and Finding Your Way: A College Guide for Students on the Spectrum, and launched our Hire Autism job program, all in support of the autistic community.

As we move forward and look to how we can better support the autistic community, we want to hear directly from autistic people about what they think must be addressed. If you are an autistic self-advocate, please fill out this short survey, which will help OAR gauge the interest of autistic self-advocates in OAR’s resources and help OAR to further develop its resources.
