OAR invites you to a free webinar about the Unstuck and On Target intervention on December 11, 2019, at 1 p.m. ET, presented by Drs. Laura G. Anthony and John F. Strang. Register now to learn more about Unstuck and On Target: Improving Young People’s Executive Function Skills.
Unstuck and On Target is an empirically supported executive function intervention, with versions for elementary school, middle school, and high school. By making flexible thinking fun, Unstuck and On Target empowers young people with greater abilities to deal with the unexpected, set their own goals, stay organized, and plan for their future. This webinar will introduce participants to the goals and design of the curriculum: how it is given, how it works, and its effectiveness. OAR has funded the pilot work for all three school-based modules of Unstuck and On Target.
Laura G. Anthony, PhD, is a clinical psychologist and clinician researcher with Children’s Hospital of Colorado and the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She developed the Unstuck and On Target executive function suite of interventions. Her work focuses on community-based participatory research approaches engaging autistic youth, teachers, and families in developing new interventions.
John F. Strang, PsyD, is a clinical neuropsychologist and clinician researcher with Children’s National Medical Center and the George Washington University School of Medicine. He led the efforts to develop the middle school version of Unstuck and On Target. His work focuses on neurodiversity in adolescence and transition to adulthood.
