OARacle Newsletter

Ten navigators and two regional ambassadors joined the Hire Autism team in April. By helping to refine resumes, cover letters, and interview skills, navigators play a vital role in equipping job seekers with the tools necessary to prepare them for the job search and meet their employment goals. Ambassadors use their personal experience and talents to help OAR expand our network of employer partners and increase the employment opportunities available to autistic job seekers.

Please welcome these new navigators:

  • Hunter Duke
  • Paolo Encarnacion
  • Christine Gonzalez
  • Bhuvnesh Goyal
  • Alina Haines
  • Sonali Harjani
  • Kyle Lintner
  • Brandee Rogers
  • Grant Willis
  • Jip Woudstra

And join us in welcoming Hire Autism’s new regional ambassadors:

  • Assiya Ashraf-Miller
  • Linda Smith

Claudia Zacharias, a navigator who began volunteering in 2022, notes that she has “worked for decades in non-profit management and [has] seldom come across an organization as impressive as OAR. The staff members are wise and compassionate, and OAR’s programs are outstanding. I am proud to contribute to their efforts!”

Are you or someone you know interested in volunteering virtually with the Hire Autism program? Apply today! The next navigator training will take place in July. The deadline to apply is July 7. The next regional ambassador training will take place in the fall of 2023.
