Published by OAR in 2018, this guidebook is intended to help autistic students become better prepared for college life and academics. It offers practical advice from autism experts, powerful narratives from self-advocates, and relevant resources for the transition to higher education.

Life Journey Through Autism: A Guide for Transition to Adulthood (2nd ed., 2021)

Updated in 2021, OAR’s guide provides an overview of the transition to adulthood for parents who are traveling this path with their child for the first time. The guidebook includes evidence-based tips, resource recommendations, informational handouts, and activities for parents and young adults.
