On February 25, Theresa and Christopher Waddell once again opened their home for the eighth annual Casino Night fundraiser. The record-breaking event raised over $14,000 and provided all kinds of fun for the guests.
This year’s cohosts were Carolyn and Nicholas Abramczyk, Linda Campanelli and Richard Gonzales, Shannon and Robert Sullivan, Naina and Steven Chernoff, and Joan and Harry Piccariello, in addition to the Waddells. OAR staff and friends volunteered as dealers and helped with the food and silent auction.
Guests mingled and played blackjack and craps, using “OAR dollars” for fun. They also had a chance to
bid on silent auction items, such as a wine party for up to 20 people from Total Wine, Washington Redskins and Washington Capitals official signed memorabilia, a Vermont getaway at Fox Creek Inn, and much more.
The OAR team thanks the Waddells, the co-hosts, the volunteers who made the night a fun-filled success, and the guests who attended and generously donated to OAR. This continued dedication and support allowed this year to be the most successful Casino Night yet.
