OAR wants to better understand the needs that matter most to the autistic community, and we invite autistic adults to help shape that work.
To support this effort, we have developed a community needs assessment survey to gather insight into the dynamic needs of the autistic community. The survey explores key areas of life, including education, employment, and social connections. These areas can shape overall health, opportunity, and quality of life.
By hearing directly from autistic adults, OAR can better understand where support is most needed and the challenges autistic individuals may face. It will also allow OAR to better understand how our programs and resources can have the greatest impact. The information collected through this survey will help guide OAR’s programs and priorities in the years ahead and ensure OAR’s work is grounded in the perspectives and lived experiences of autistic adults.
If you are an autistic adult, we encourage you to participate in this anonymous survey. Every perspective matters, and your input can help us build a clearer picture of the needs, concerns, and priorities within the community.
The survey is open through May 1. All responses are confidential.
If you have any questions, please email OAR’s community support coordinator, Ben VanHook.
