On April 21, Theresa and Christopher Waddell once again opened their home for the ninth annual Casino Night fundraiser. In addition to the fun and games enjoyed by all in attendance, the event raised more than $9,000 for OAR programs. Linda Campanelli and Richard Gonzales, Naina and Steven Chernoff, Joan and Harry Piccariello, and Shannon and Robert Sullivan joined the Waddells in cohosting the memorable event.
In keeping with the 1920s theme, flappers and gents mixed and mingled while using “OAR dollars” for fun at blackjack and craps games. Silent auction items included in-kind donations, such as a wine party for up to 20 people from Total Wine, a winery tour from Reston Limousine, tickets to a show at Woolly Mammoth Theatre, ski passes to Liberty Mountain Resort, and so much more.
The OAR team thanks the Waddells, co-hosts, and volunteers who made the night a fun-filled success, and the guests who attended and generously donated to OAR.
