The Autism Healthcare Accommodations Tool (AHAT) helps create a personalized accommodations report tailored to your unique needs. This report is designed for you to share with your healthcare providers and includes recommendations to make healthcare visits smoother—before, during, and after appointments with your primary care provider.
The process is simple and straightforward:
- Create an Account – Registering for an account allows you to save, access, or update your report whenever needed.
- Complete a Form– After registration, you’ll fill out a form designed to capture your specific preferences and challenges. Based on your responses, AHAT generates a customized report.
- Share Your Report – Your report provides healthcare providers with insights to better understand your needs and offers practical suggestions for creating a more supportive and accessible healthcare experience. While the report is crafted to be professional and concise, we recognize that individual healthcare providers may vary in their response to the recommendations.

Your privacy is our priority. We do not use your name or identity for publication or promotional purposes, and your information will not be shared with others. However, as with any internet-based system, there is a small risk of loss of privacy.
