This online resource was originally created by the Academic Autism Spectrum Partnership in Research and Education (AASPIRE). The toolkit was created in collaboration between Oregon Health and Science University, the Autistic Self-Advocacy Network, Portland State University, the Autism Society of Oregon, Syracuse University, Indiana University, and members of the Autistic community at large. In 2025, it was updated by OAR to improve user accessibility, confidentiality, and pronoun options.
