The Center for Brain Health (University of Texas at Dallas) is working on ways to help train individuals with autism to reach their full potential. As a result of their research, they have developed a “virtual reality” program that simulates social scenarios and interactions that happen in daily life, with the purpose of reducing anxiety and increasing confidence among individuals on the spectrum.
