- The TCS London Marathon on April 23 is the world’s largest charitable event and known for its crowd support, “fancy dress” costumes, and famous landmarks. Highlights of the course include scenic Greenwich, the Tower Bridge, revelry at the Isle of Dogs, the Thames River, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and Buckingham Palace. - The BMW Berlin Marathon on September 24 is a flat, fast course. The race starts and finishes at the iconic Brandenburg Gate, before passing a whole host of fascinating landmarks along the way, including the Reichstag, Potsdamer Platz, and Berlin Cathedral. With over 40,000 runners, as well as over a million spectators cheering you on every step of the way, this race promises lots of fun and camaraderie. We don’t have many entries for this event. - The Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon on June 11 showcases the beauty of San Francisco. Triathletes embark on a 1.5-mile swim from Alcatraz Island to the San Francisco shoreline, an 18-mile hilly bike ride out to Golden Gate Park, and an eight-mile trail run out to Baker Beach and up the infamous Sand Ladder.
