I am very grateful to the entire Hire Autism team for their guidance. I do not endorse autism organizations lightly, but I feel that OAR is truly dedicated to assisting autistic people. Their resources, research and fundraising efforts are relevant for autistic people and aim to support and empower us. I’ve had a rewarding experience engaging with this organization, and I encourage other autistic adults to reach out to them too.

I was awarded a scholarship from OAR that was instrumental in helping me successfully complete college. As a person with autism, I know there are not always many resources available for older students or adults on the spectrum. I am glad that OAR has chosen to do much of their work in this area specifically, which I think is unique among organizations working with autism.
— Autistic Scholarship Recipient
I was so relieved once I found Organization for Autism Research’s free resources and list of COVID resources. OAR’s resources helped get my family and I through the toughest of times. I cannot express in words how grateful we are for Organization for Autism Research and all that they do.

My experience working with a Hire Autism Navigator was wonderful. It very much exceeded my expectations. Each week, I was really able to make strides towards my career goals and I was able to stay motivated and organized with the help of a Navigator.

After browsing many sites and organizations, I am so impressed with yours and what you guys do. The resources you have on here are phenomenal and I just honestly want to just say THANK YOU for doing this. Not only will I be using this site for my own kids, my students, but also for my family, friends, and community.
— Autism Parent
Because the OAR Hire Autism Navigator process is so well thought out, job seekers were able to easily share with me how I could best help them. I would highly recommend OAR to autistic individuals and their families searching for resources related to autism.

OAR’s resources are really great. What they do for families is truly incredible. I am a therapist and my son was just diagnosed. I have looked and asked for good resources for families for years. These are the best I have found. The fact that they supply resources at no cost is amazing. Thank you so much for the difference you are making!
— Therapist & Autism Parent
The Organization for Autism Research is my saving grace! I run for them, I raise funds for them and I am heavily involved in everything they support! As a parent there are no words when an organization is dedicated and committed to research, education and resources to assist with children, teenagers and adults touched by autism. Just knowing that they are there for all of us is a blessing!
— Autism Parent
Our organization refers families and the general public to the Autism Siblings Initiative and Guide book sections. The resources are valuable. No sense recreating the wheel – just use OAR.
