They’re inviting young autistic poets from across the country to share their words, their creativity, and their unique perspectives.\nThis project is a labor of love, inspired by Ryleigh’s growing passion for poetry and her wish to connect with others like her. Together, they hope to amplify autistic voices and raise awareness through the beauty of poetry.\nWho Can Participate?\nAutistic children and youth up to age 16.\nAll communication styles are welcome: typed, handwritten, spoken (transcribed), or AAC-assisted.\nSubmission Guidelines:\n– Submit 1 to 3 original poems per child\n– Typed documents or clear scans of handwritten pages accepted\n– Optional: a 1–2 sentence author bio and a photo\n– Poets may choose to be credited by their name, nickname, or anonymously\n– Submissions due by October 31, 2025\nWhat Will Happen with the Poems?\nThe submitted poems will be published in a special anthology celebrating the creativity and authenticity of autistic youth.
