SUMMARY:Webinar: Unlocking Potential of Autistic Youth: A Strength-based Approach to Empowering Employment Readiness through ASSET and EPASS
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text css=””]\n\nUnlocking Potential of Autistic Youth: A Strength-based Approach to Empowering Employment Readiness through ASSET and EPASS\n\n[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css=””]\n\n Register\n\n[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text css=””]\n\n\n\nPresented by Connie Sung, Ph.D. and Katie Kinde, M.Ed.\nThis presentation will describe the ASSET and EPASS programs, which use a strength-based approach to enhance employment readiness among transition-age autistic individuals. By focusing on soft skills development and manualized employment training, these interventions are designed to bolster confidence and competence in the workplace. Presenters will discuss the theoretical underpinnings of strength-based practices, the structure and components of the ASSET and EPASS programs, and share empirical evidence highlighting their efficacy in improving employment-related outcomes, such as work-related social-skills, self-efficacy and even mental health. The session aims to provide insights into how these programs can be integrated into broader employment support systems to facilitate successful career paths for autistic individuals. \nLive captioning will be used during this webinar.\n\n\n\n[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_separator][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row content_placement=”bottom”][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”2507″ img_size=”100×100″ alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]\nFree to Participate\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”2547″ img_size=”100×100″ alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]\nRecorded and Archived\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”7565″ img_size=”100×100″ alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]\n Certificate of Attendance\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”5rem”][vc_column_text css=””]If you have any questions or comments about this event or if you would like to request specific webinar topics for the future, please contact us at programs@researchautism.org or call 571-977-5393 ( tel:571-977-5393 ).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row el_id=”register”][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”5rem”][vc_column_text]\nRegister for the Webinar:\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]\n
