For the first time, OAR and the Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center (SARRC) will team up to participate in the P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona Marathon & Half Marathon. Runners who commit to raising $600 will receive compimentary race entry and those who elect to pay their own race fees will commit to raising $250. OAR and SARRC will split the proceeds with the possibility of collaborating on a joint project using the proceeds.

Option 1: To reserve and purchase your entry through OAR, go to www.firstgiving.com/OAR and click "Get Started." Then select the "P.F. Chang's Rock 'n' Roll Arizona Marathon and Half Marathon " from the list of events. Proceed through the registration steps and select " RUN FOR AUTISM 2010 Team Registration-Need Race Entry". You will have a $600 fundraising minimum with this option. Then, create your personal fundraising page and get started changing lives.
Option 2: If you have already purchased your P.F. Chang's Rock 'n' Roll Arizona Marathon and Half Marathon entry, but want to join the OAR/SARRC RUN FOR AUTISM team, go to www.firstgiving.com/OAR and click "Get Started." Select the registration option that states, " RUN FOR AUTISM 2010 Team Registration-Have Race Entry ." You will have a $250 fundraising minimum with this option. Once your fundraising reaches $50.00, you will be sent an OAR Runner's Kit. This kit includes the RUN FOR AUTISM t-shirt, specially designed race shirt and OAR information and fundraising material.
Fundraising
OAR requires participants in the P.F. Chang's Rock 'n' Roll Arizona Marathon & Half Marathon who have already purchased registration through the official race website to raise $250. Participants who receive FREE entry to the race through OAR have a fundraising minimum of $600.
