Casino Night 2017 @ The Waddell Home

Please join the OAR staff and friends for a Casino Night Benefit for the Organization for Autism Research on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the home of Theresa and Christopher Waddell in Arlington, VA.

The Waddells have two children on the autism spectrum and have been active for years with OAR, the Arlington Special Education PTA, the Autism Society of Northern Virginia, and the broader autism community. Together, they have competed in RUN FOR AUTISM events of all distances in cities such as San Antonio, New York City, and Washington, DC.

All gaming is for fun only, but there will be a 50/50 raffle as well as a silent auction. Champagne and desserts will be served. Contribution of any amount accepted at the door. Event expenses are privately underwritten; 100% of your contribution will benefit OAR.

In order to make this event an even bigger success than last year, OAR is looking for in-kind donations to offer as auction items. Join the RUN FOR AUTISM for the world’s largest charitable event–the Virgin Money London Marathon. This race is known for its crowd support, “fancy dress” costumes, and famous landmarks. Highlights of the course include scenic Greenwich, the Tower Bridge, revelry at the Isle of Dogs, the Thames River, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and Buckingham Palace.

OAR is honored to participate in this prestigious event, receiving reserved charity entries for our always impressive runners and fundraisers. OAR has a limited number of charity bibs available, but those who have received entry through the lottery are also invited to sign up with the RUN FOR AUTISM team
